Avoid Bank Holiday DIY: Do A Wedding Show

Ah, Bank Holidays. We all look forward to them and yet they rarely live up to the hype. By rights, holiday weekendshttp://www.flickr.com/photos/zakwitnij/ should be reserved for a prolonged chill out, but more often than not they’re marred by irritating DIY, gardening, shopping and family obligations.

With that in mind, a wedding fair might seem like a welcome escape from the unappealing alternatives that’ve doubtless been lined up for you this weekend, and we’ve found a decent one for you Midlanders. The Spring Wedding Show takes place tomorrow (Saturday, May 29th) at Solihull’s swish Cranmore Park and it sounds like a good ‘un.

Not only can you get your wedding attire, catering, photography and other essentials sorted, but host of Sky Real Lives’ Wedding SOS and renowned wedding planning guru, Jane Dayus-Hinch, is holding ‘inspiration sessions’  packed full of advice for couples who’re arranging their Big Day.

If the missus wants her 15 minutes of fame, LIVING’S hit reality show, Four Weddings, will also be around and on the lookout for more brides-to-be to attend and score each other’s weddings.
