Stag-Do City Guides: Prague

A heady mix of medieval architecture, old world charm, modern bars and clubs and outdoor adventure. The Czech Republic capital of Prague is a stag weekend favourite, with target shooting, quad biking, an eclectic mix of pubs and the biggest nightclub in Europe, it’s a no-brainer. Perhaps most important of all, Prague has a reputation for cheap (and pretty decent) beer. What’s not to like? ESSENTIAL TRIVIA

Prague is known as the “City of Spires” thanks to the hundreds of spires reaching towards the sky from the towers, churches and synagogues.

You are in the right place for meat. People in the Czech Republic consume more meat than just about any place on the planet.

Over the centuries, powerful people in Prague tortured heretics, witches, and state enemies. See the tools of pain at the Torture Museum. (Mostecka 21, Mala Strana) +420 603 889 361
