The Royal Air Force Museum has over 100 aircraft in its collection, ranging from the very earliest ‘stick and shift’ bi-planes to iconic Second World War aircraft such as the Spitfire and Lancaster, and the most state of the art Eurofighter Typhoon prototype.  

The venue offers two special spaces for wedding receptions the Battle of Britain Hall and the Historic Hangars. In the Battle of Britain Hall, guests can enter through ‘London in the Blitz’ and ‘Our Finest Hour’ and enjoy a drinks reception beside the famous Spitfire and Hurricane, before being called to dine and dance underneath the wings of the magnificent Sunderland Flying Boat. Alternatively guests can make use of the Historic Hangars with a drinks reception surrounded by historic aircraft such as the Spitfire and Tornado and even have a go in the flight simulator, before dinner is served underneath the wings of the iconic Avro Lancaster.
