Middle Temple Hall

Location: Middle Temple Lane, London EC4Y 9AT

Cost: from £6,500 + VAT

Probably the finest of the surviving Elizabethan halls, completed in 1570, Middle Temple’s historical grandeur and majestic gardens provide a perfect setting for a grand wedding.

A natural romantic setting, the Hall staged the first performance of Shakespeare’s ‘Twelfth Night’ in 1602 and has hosted royal guests for dinner such as Queen Elizabeth I. The wedding party can even dine of the renowned Bench Table, a 29 foot long dining table that was floated down the Thames from Windsor Forest before the Hall was completed!

Wedding licence: Yes, wedding ceremonies can take place in the Parliament Chamber and Queen’s Room.
