Road Trip! It’s The Staggered Tour 2011

Grrrrrrr! Wedding planning’s a bit of a beast and here’s how to tame it. Don’t traipse around the High Street every weekend ad nauseum. There’s a far smarter way to limit the pain to one big hit and even have a laugh at the same time. It’s called the wedding fair and we’ll be there to keep you company.

Yes, folks – Team Staggered is going on tour! Our Roadshow will be appearing (either in person or in some form) at all the best fairs this year, so come and say hello and tax our ickle brain cells with any Groom, Father of the Bride and Best Man related questions.

When you find us you can join Staggered if you haven’t got round to it, get your mitts on a free copy of the 2011 Staggered Directory and be in with a chance of winning a swanky honeymoon in Mauritius. We won’t be trashing any hotel rooms, though. Rock on!

Wedding fairs aren’t just for the laydeez anymore. More exhibitors offer stuff pitched squarely at yours truly, like mens wedding suits, cars and even the odd stag company. You’ve also got a real chance to have your say about things like cakes, themes and the entertainment. Consider the alternative – you don’t bother to go and your missus comes back saying that she’s booked half your wedding. Which now includes a pink Barbie theme, a Steps tribute band and an ‘adorable’ little Nissan Micra for your wedding car…see what we mean?

If you still need an incentive to shift your behind off the sofa, bear in mind that wedding fairs offer plenty of discounts, plus there’s usually models to gawp at and drinks to sample whilst you’re there. And now – there’s us!

Of course if you’re really smart you’ll notice that tickets for these events are bloody reasonably priced (or even free, the most reasonable fee of all) and you could get some tickets for the Mrs as a “I care about our wedding too and I love you so let me watch MOTD later” sort of present.
