Meet The Staggered Bloggers

admin Mar 2010 No Comment Bookmark or Share

As the UK’s number one men’s wedding magazine we like to think we have a pretty good idea about what’s important to our readers, after all we talk to 54k of you each and every month.

However, we’re always keen to find out more and that’s why we’ve launched a series of blogs written by you. Well, not ACTUALLY by you (although if you want to contribute then get in touch), but people like you – grooms, brides and best men who are all gearing up for the biggest day of their lives.

Let’s meet them shall we?

Clockwise from top left

Meet Cameron - that’s the Staggered stag and represents the existing blogs that you can find on the site from our experts. These range from Brenda Della Casa’s relationship advice, Lisa Turner’s thoughts on orgasms, our Stop Being Single Challenge, Randall Murrow’s wedding photography blog, Father Robert Stanier’s words of wisdom about marriage and the church and Toby Luper’s questions about style.

Meet Dan AndersonRead Dan’s blog here…

As living proof that you can never have too many Dans, we’ve asked Dan Anderson to share his wedding story with us on his blog. Dan is going to marry Liz in June this year (not long to sort stuff out Dan!) but he’s a relaxed sort of bloke – although he was at pains to say that he had pulled over when this photo was taken. Honest, officer.

Meet Joel BurdallRead Joel’s blog here…

Action man Joel has just returned home after driving a beat up old motorcycle and his girlfriend to South Africa wearing only flip-flops. Don’t be too impressed, he was supposed to be going to Australia.

Meet Pete BoylandRead Pete’s blog here…

Pete is getting married to his other half D in May 2011 and as you can see from the picture, he’s already getting plenty of practice for his stag-do by brushing up on his beer-swilling and travel guide reading (BTW if you can’t be bothered to read a full-on travel guide then you might like our stag-do city guides).

Meet Helen OchyraRead Helen’s blog here…

You might well be aware that we’re a men’s wedding magazine (we certainly say it often enough) but that doesn’t mean that we don’t have a space in our hearts for our female readership. Representing the brides and sharing the story of her wedding is Helen who says that she feels more at home here than with the fluffy women’s bridal mags. Grrr.

Meet Dan Sweryt! Read Dan’s blog here…

This is Dan Sweryt – he gets married soon to fiancee who he refers to romantically as Mrs-Dan-To-Be. This is a picture of Dan on top of the world after Mrs Dan-To-Be agreed to marry him. We’re making that up by the way, we have no idea what he’s doing in this picture. It looks a lot like he’s trying to hug space.

Meet Mick Wood! Read Mick’s blog here…

What can you say about Mick Wood that hasn’t already been taken down by a court stenographer? Plenty. And he’s going to be saying it all here about his travels, his wife, his son and, of course, getting married, go Mick!

You can follow all of our bloggers stories by signing up to the Staggered newsletter (fill your details into the grey box on the right), by subscribing to the blog’s RSS feed or simply checking back at the site every day (and while you’re hear why don’t you read everything else and buy everything that our advertisers are trying to sell you, cheers.)
