Hello Staggered I was father of the bride – daughter Louise – son in law Mike
I've never been one for speaking in public so it was a little nerve wrecking
to say the least. got the call that I was up and it went like this – beer in
one hand for courage did not prepare I just thought I would stand up and see what came
out-it was a short speech but who said it had to be a long one?

Ladies and gents thanks very much for turning up on this day for the
wedding of Mike and Louise I would first like to officially welcome Mike to
the family, but more importantly I would like to thank him for taking Louise
away, I have been trying to get rid of her for years. So today is a
great day for me and the wife, our life of peace is about to start.
