I think wedding insurance is another way for the big wedding business to grab cash… it's rude and greedy- shouldn't be allowed!!!

We've taken out insurance at £60 which covers our wedding for up to £20,000 – seems sensible.

i think insurance is such a good idea as i know pleanty of people back in the 90s that had none and their wedding were canceld they lost thousands of pounds

Definitely not putting any of the budget into insurance. For people who are having a very DIYish wedding and have lots fo different suppliers I think it's a good idea but the majority of our money is going to a well established hotel, part of a well established chain and they're the only ones who could really ruin our wedding by going bust. I don't really go for the whole insurance thing in general though, from my experience they don't tend to pay out anyway!

Add it to the list of things that you've said you're not going to waste your money on but when it starts getting closer you start to think you have to do it…. Still holding off for now though.
