We have because it was £20 and saves a lot of hassle. We did think about it for ages though but decided to go for it.

We won't be spending a huge a mount on the wedding but I think £30 for wedding insurance is worth it for a bit of peace of mind.

If I win these vouchers I will definitely get the Debenhams wedding insurance!!!!

If this was a lavish wedding with all the bells and whistles, then I would have to consider insurance for her special day..

But we have decided on a quieter event, I am not sure insurance would help… She wants to do it all herself

A challenge for all the family and friends.. =op

Will be taking out wedding insurance for sure. I know a bride whose mother had a stroke on her wedding day and they had to cancel everything so I definately think it's worth it even just for peace of mind :-)

Wedding insurance was the 1st thing we did!  But that's probably influenced by the fact that I work in insurance!

Wedding insurance seems like a good idea, it depends on exactly what's covered I suppose. I applied for a quote from Debenhams and it was £39 for the Silver level cover, which seemed reasonable. Pity they can't guarantee good weather, or that no embarrassing relatives will turn up!

Not taking out insurance. Thoughts of money are a passion-killer. :)

We have only just started planning our wedding and didn't even realise that you could get wedding insurance until we went to a wedding show and saw some stands about it. After talking to people at said stands i think we will be taking out insurance am amazed at how many things can go wrong and how many compainies to do with weddings dont give full refunds so insurance is a must for us.

I didn't know when I got married (more than 30 and 35 years ago now) about the existence of wedding insurance.  I suppose the need to take it out is proportional to the cost of the ceremony and associated items.  It's almost a truism that insurers will insure you for events that will not happen (or, if so, only very rarely) whereas they will want an arm and a leg to insure you against something that might have a reasonable prospect of happening.  I am unlikely to get married again and therefore will not have any need for wedding insurance.

The home of Leeds entrepreneurs Terry George and Michael Rothwell, the castle is situated in a secluded, wooded valley, adjacent to a deer park, midway between Leeds and Manchester.

Terry and Michael spent over 4 years, and almost £1 million restoring the castle, taking the walls back to the original brickwork and creating an opulent look with deep colours, dark wood and highly textured fabrics.

We are getting insurance, I think through the net, I have let the better half look around for it while I have budgeted lol.

Main reason for it is to make sure we have peace of mind.  We know roughly how much the wedding is costing, so just have to find a package that covers us – the biggest worry is that any of our providers, or the venue go bust – I'm sure it won't happen, but you do have to be careful…!
