Absinthe from Nasomatto – The perfumer says that he created this fragrance to ‘encourage irresponsible behaviour’ so perhaps this fragrance might be better for the stag night than the wedding. It is warm, rich, decadent and earthy with smoke and leather. £98/30ml from Selfridges.

Green Irish Tweed by Creed – this fragrance is worn by the coolest guys on

the planet including George Clooney. It features herbs, woods, fresh green

created specifically for men (1934). This is lavender based – not old ladies

lavender, but cool lavender from the South of France. Smells like driving
