Want to wear something a bit different on your wedding day? How about one of these – an original Tonic Suit as brought to you by Ace Face Clothing Company (01342 835447).

The real deal tonic suit was born in the 60s when Mods cut their fashion cloth with the cult fabric and the suits became iconic. Tonic had its day again in the late 70s when 2 Tone burst onto the scene with bands like The Selector, The Specials, Madness and The Beat fusing ska, punk rock, rocksteady, reggae and pop and leaping about in smart cut suits that shimmered in a spectrum of colours.

Ace Face tonic suits have eight stunning medium weight cloths and a recently launched more traditional heavier weight tonic of 3-ply pure mohair and wool, currently available in 3 two-tone colours. All Ace Face suits are bespoke made for customers with the range starting at £599 for a two-piece suit. What’s more all Staggered readers can claim a free £120 handmade bespoke shirt in the cloth of their choice with all suit orders (just tell them that Staggered sent you and they’ll sort you out).

Jackets are 3 button single breasted with 2½inch notched lapels and single back vent finished off with a 4 button cuff. Jacket pockets are working slanted with flaps and a double pocket on the right hand side. The trouser cut is slim fit with 16-inch bottom, belt loops and working cross pockets including a working back pocket.

This choice of cloth is becoming extremely popular amongst grooms, with the company seeing around 60% of their business from the wedding market. Best of all, because their tonic cloth is made exclusively for themselves, you’ll be wearing a guaranteed unique suit!
