No. 1 Traveller should be the top of your travel list when you head out on honeymoon. This savvy company operates a number of independent airport lounges – super stylish ‘pay-as-you-go’ lounges that any passengers in the terminal can access and have a relaxing time before their flight. So you don’t have to be a frequent flyer to gain access. The flagship is in Heathrow Terminal 3 and there’s another super lounge in Gatwick North and a further three lounges – one in Gatwick South and two in Stansted.

The Heathrow Terminal 3 lounge – which only opened last month – offers a great wet shave if you got up late and are looking a bit rough. The Heathrow Terminal 3 Lounge’s Travel Spa offer an excellent wet shave. No.1 Traveller teamed up with luxury grooming brand Truefitt & Hill to offer passengers a traditional wet shave for £35. It’s an exclusive partnership and a range of Truefitt & Hill products are also be available to purchase before take-off in the No.1 Travel Spa. The wet shave is only available at the Travel Spa within the flagship lounge.

You can get a whole host of services at Gatwick and Heathrow including massages, hair treatments, showers, facials, manicures and pedicures. At Heathrow there’s showers and a bedroom. Stansted doesn’t offer quite the range of options – but for long haul honeymoons your more likely to be zooming out of Heathrow or Gatwick anyway.

Entry into the lounge (which costs between £15 and £30, depending on the lounge and whether you book in advance or pay on the door) covers complimentary food and drinks, magazines and newspapers, Wi-Fi, various comfortable seating options and fantastic views of the airport. Treatments are additional.
