From the stag dos I've been on, I think you're right about the numbers. I reckon about 12. If you have too many, you'll probably find the group splits into smaller groups, which you don't want. Also, if you see a stag getting too drunk, get him some water so he can keep pace with everyone. The last thing you want is to have to take someone home early. If everyone starts getting tired, change venue, or get in some shots. A change of pace helps perk everyone up. After all this, try and enjoy yourself!! Some great advice here.
