Harrogate Wedding Show: It’s A Good ‘Un
Hallelujah, the season’s started again! No, not the footy, silly; the wedding fair season. Now, now, there’s no need to
look quite so disappointed. We won’t deny that it’s the brides who tend to get a bit more excited about these events than the grooms, but some of these fairs are actually rather useful, and entertaining to boot.
Take the Harrogate Wedding Show, for example. Taking place on the weekend of September 18th-19th at Harrogate International Centre, this expanded, 110-stand shindig includes three award-winning, professionally choreographed bridal wear and formal wear fashion shows (at 12.00pm, 2.00pm and 4.00pm both days) with accompanying entertainment from jazz, soul and swing supremo, Jason Isaacs.
Better still, the Show’s organiser, The UK Wedding Shows, is committed to supporting smaller businesses as well as the major wedding companies, so there’s plenty of scope for sourcing original supplies for your big day.
As you’d expect, a host of local and national suppliers will be on hand to offer help and advice to ensure that your big day unfolds seamlessly. It’s all there: accessories, balloons, beauty, bridalwear, cakes, cars, caterers, flowers, gift lists, hats, honeymoons, men’s wedding attire, music and entertainment, photography, hen and stag weekends, stationery, tiaras, wedding DVDs, wedding and engagement rings, and venues. And probably lots more stuff that we can’t think of right now.
Tickets are a very reasonable £7.00 in advance and £8.00 on the door and the fun takes place from 10.00am until 5.00pm on both days. If the missus is a freebies junkie, she’ll be extra chuffed with her complimentary Show Guide and Goody Bag. Find out more at: http://www.theukweddingshows.co.uk
