Brownie Points Alert: Midlands Wedding Show
If the missus reckons that one of your New Year’s resolutions is destined to be ‘start wedding planning’, then here’s a great wedding event to help you keep your promise. The UK Wedding Shows is holding its Midlands Wedding Show on Saturday, 15th and Sunday, 16th January, 2011, at the ever so swish Ricoh Arena, so why not start the year as you mean to go on and get your posterior in gear?
A stone’s throw from the M6, Coventry’s Ricoh Arena is an all-singing, all-dancing, award-winning, state-of-the-art, purpose-built exhibition space with oodles of parking, so it’s a doddle to access. The Midlands Wedding Show will showcasing over 90 exhibitors from throughout the region (including regular exhibitors, Tying the Knot, Moss Bros and Sandals) and benefits from Ricoh’s excellent facilities, like its casino, restaurants and bars.

The extensive display of products and services from the wedding industry makes it easy as pie for you to find everything that you could possibly need for your Big Day, from flowers and photographers to hotels and honeymoons. If you’re pooped after all of that invaluable research then you can take a breather and gawp at the fabulous fashion shows (held at 12.00pm, 2.00pm and 4.00pm daily) which feature the finest bridal wear, as well as gent’s wedding attire.
Tickets are £8 in advance (you can buy them online) and £9 on the door. Show opening times are 10.00am-5.00pm on both days.
