They say you should never work with children and animals, and weddings are no exception to that rule. A male elephant hired for a lavish Hindu wedding in India has caused more than £200,000 of damage in a six-hour rampage after trying to reach a female who was in heat. In a display of behaviour that makes the typical stag-do mischief look rather tame in comparison, the frisky fellow managed to trample over 20 limousines in his efforts to make contact with a female in a neighbouring sugar cane field in New Delhi.
