Woody Roots
Korres Vetiver Root Green Tea and Cedarwood EDT came across my desk over Christmas and it’s one that has sparked a great reaction. This is probably more of a unisex scent, rather than being specifically masculine. I went for the woody roots title because this is a woody scent that is full of aromatic earthiness. Korres Vetiver Root Green Tea Cedarwood is a country retreat fragrance perfect for long country walks.
Vetiver is (as I have mentioned before) one of my favourite scents in a fragrance and this one from Korres is filled with the earthy freshness of vetiver and balanced with the crispness of rejuvenating green tea. Having said that there’s plenty of the warm woody tones of cedarwood, oak moss and a subtle sweet lavender note. It’s a good all-rounder, think a weekend in the Cotswolds.
Made from natural ingredients on homeopathic premises, this eau de toilette is designed to ‘loosen the spirit, refresh the skin, enhance inspiration and evoke tranquillity’, now they are big promises to match. I can safely say this has a great smell, it very country oriented and would be the scent of choice for a country wedding.
