This Wedding Present Idea Is a Dead Cert
Scorching weather and high street wedding present shopping is a marriage made in hell, we think you’ll agree. It might
seem like an easy-peasy task compared to organising mens wedding suits, top-notch wedding speeches and superior stag do pranks, but it can cause its fair share of headaches. Hurrah, then, for arty supremos, Coulson Macleod. They’re back again to save you from needless retail torture.
Landmarks, their brand, spanking new typographic art collection, (pictured) certainly ticks all the boxes for the perfect wedding gift. As you’d expect from Coulson Macleod, the design is achingly funky and it also gives you the chance to personalise and look like a lovely, thoughtful, caring person. Which you are, of course.
Two teensy bits of thinking are required from yours truly. First up, you’ll need to choose a theme. Ideas could include the couple’s honeymoon destination, where they met, or even their beloved local pub – you get the gist. Then you need to send Coulson Macleod’s talented team a list of keywords for your artwork; they use roughly 70 words in their Landmarks collection. Do stick to the Oxford English Dictionary rather than your treasured Profanisaurus if you’re in need of inspiration – humour can be such a personal thing…
Killer idea and keywords sorted, you can kick back and let Coulson Macleod do the rest. They’ll find an image that suits the theme perfectly and you’ll end up with a cracking piece of bespoke artwork which should make the happy couple even happier, and all for just £149.00.
Here’s the technical bit: “your personalized artwork features a handmade frame and panelled backboard made from reclaimed antique Victorian roof timbers. The planks are full of lovely defects to add to the charm and character of the piece. These can include knot holes, nail holes, warps and water marks, so each art work is totally unique. The finished item is then over-printed with distressed image and typography in UV ink.” Good-oh.
